High Efficiency and High Stability for SHG in an Nd:YVO4 Laser with a KTP Intracavity and Q-Switching through Harmonic Modulation

In this paper, the stabilization and high efficiency of an unstable Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) Nd:YVO4 laser with a KTP intracavity is demonstrated. By using passive Q-switching crystal (Cr4+:YAG) parametric modulation method (harmonic modulation), reached. An harmonic was applied to pumping Nd:YVO4-KTP control amplitude frequency emission. The results were characterized by power spectra analysis, optical spectrum, bifurcation diagrams, temporal series intensity. promising application green light source materialized when such necessary for high-density optics, as in treatment materials industry or some aesthetic applications.

A tunable computer controlled UV laser spectrometer utilizing intracavity second harmonic generation of a cw ring dye laser is described. The spectrometer yields broadband (~100-GHz) second harmonic outputs of up to 30 mW and narrowband (~100-MHz) single-mode UV outputs of up to 10 mW continuously tunable over intervals of 3200 GHz in the 285-311-nm wavelength range.

A compact and efficient diode-pumped acousto-optically Q -switched intracavity frequency-doubled Nd:Y VO(4)/KTP green laser is demonstrated.
